A. SSSCE Holders
1. Five (5) passes (A-C) in three (3) core subjects, including English Language, Integrated Science/Core Science and Mathematics and at least two (2) elective subjects in Elective Mathematics, Physics or Electronic.
2. Six Passes (A-D) in all subjects, including English Language, Integrated Science/Core Science and Mathematics and at least three (3) elective subjects in Elective Mathematics, Physics / Electronics.
B. WASSCE Holders
1. Five (5) passes (A1-C6) in three (3) core subjects, including English Language, Integrated Science/Core Science and Mathematics and at least two (2) elective subjects in Elective Mathematics, Physics/Electronics.
2. Six Passes (A1-D7) in all subjects, including English Language, Integrated Science/Core Science and Mathematics and at least three (3) elective subjects in Elective Mathematics, Physics/Electronics.
C. GCE A-Level Applicants
Five (5) GCE O-Level credit passes or Passes or four (4) GCE O-Level passes in subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Additional Mathematics plus a minimum of two (2) passes at GCE A-Level including General Paper.
D. Mature Applicants
1. Must be at least 25 years old
2. Must have had at least two (2) years of relevant work experience
3. Must pass a written examination and/or an interview.
E. International Applicants
1. All foreign qualifications shall be referred to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for determination of equivalences and eligibility for admission to the institution.
2. Applicants with WAEC qualifications can apply directly to the University.
3. Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non -English speaking countries. International applicants are also requested to acquire Non-Citizens Ecowascard as a pre-requisite for regularization of admission. International applicants who fail to provide evidence of having acquired this card will not have their admissions regularized.
